Remembering Clarence

Clarence Laau Loa II was born on December 7, 1969, in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Sagato Benjamin Loa and Elena Bruzzese. He was also raised by his loving Step Mother, Peggy. Clarence was one of six siblings -- Robert, Christina, George, Doug, and Guy.

Clarence attended Vista High School, where he proudly played on the football team and made lasting memories. He graduated with the Class of 1988.
In 1993, Clarence married Jennifer Frehe, and together they raised four children: Jessica, Emily, Sydney, and Fal. He was also deeply blessed to be a grandfather to Maya and Noey - a role he cherished with all his heart. In recent years, his family continued to grow with the addition of new loved ones -- Daniela, Ian, and Michael -- who became a special part of his immediate family.
Beyond his immediate and extended family, Clarence built a wide and loving circle of friends, colleagues, and neighbors who became like family over the years. Whether through softball, football, work, or the community, he formed lasting bonds that remained strong as his children grew up. Anyone who knew Clarence likely shared memories at sporting events, pool parties, barbecues, or just spending time at the house. His warmth and hospitality created a home where everyone felt welcome, valued, and loved.

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me

When tomorrow starts without me and I'm not here to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes all filled with tears for me.
I wish you wouldn't cry the way you did today
While thinking of the many things we didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me as much as I love you.
Each time that you think of me I know you'll miss me too.
When tomorrow starts without me please try to understand,
That an angel came and called my name and took me by the hand.
The angel said my place was ready in Heaven far above,
And that I would have to leave behind all those I dearly love.
But when I walked through Heaven's Gates I felt so much at home
When God looked down and smiled at me from his golden throne
He said This Is Eternity and all I promised you,
Today your life on earth is done but here it starts a new.
I promise no tomorrow for today will always last.
And since each day's the exact same way there is no longing for the past.
So when tomorrow starts without me do not think we're apart,
For every time you think of me, remember I'm right here in your heart.
